About Jessica

Jessica Osnoe is an English Instructor and Department Chair at Cumberland International Early College High School. She holds a Master of Arts in English Literature from North Carolina State University with a focus in Eighteenth-Century and Romantic literature. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, summa cum laude, from Campbell University, where she also graduated as a member of the Honors Program.

Jessica currently serves as an Assistant Artistic Director and Master of Education for Sweet Tea Shakespeare, with whom she has performed in Twelfth Night, Much Ado About Nothing, Love’s Labours Lost, The Winter’s Tale, Bottom’s Dream (an adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream), The Tempest and As You Like It. Other recent credits include Mary Bailey in Gilbert Theater’s production of It’s A Wonderful Life.  She is currently writing a new adaptation of Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility to be staged in April 2016.
